Friday, July 19th, 2019
The South Carolina Bombers were dealt a severe blow when Jorge Rosas was hurt throwing the ball recently in a game against the Boston Cardinals. After the game, the team trainer reported Rosas might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old second baseman out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Rosas at least 2-3 months to heal.

Rosas's current batting average stands at .291 and he has chalked up 13 home runs and 55 RBIs.
