Smith Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, July 15th, 2019 Patriots first baseman Dan Smith is really on a roll. In today's game at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard he came up with 2 hits in 4 at-bats and extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. But the Washington Federals came up winners on the scoreboard and topped Manhatten Beach 13-2. Dan Smith singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season Smith is hitting .334 with 9 home runs. |
