RCL Player of the Week Named Monday, July 15th, 2019 At the age of 27, Alvin Baldwin might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Montreal second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .619 batting average. For his efforts Baldwin collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 21 at-bats, no home runs and 3 RBIs last week in 5 games. This season Baldwin is swinging the bat at a .426 rate with 155 hits in 364 at-bats. To date he has hit 1 home run, scored 78 runs and driven in 39. |
