TML Selects Rookie Star of the Month Monday, July 1st, 2019 David Lewis is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In June the South Carolina hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .267 average with 27 hits, 7 home runs and 25 RBIs. A look at his current stats shows Lewis with a .259 average, 25 home runs, 59 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has played in 80 games. |
