June's Best Hurler in TML is Lewis Monday, July 1st, 2019 George Alexander Lewis hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In June the Georgia starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 41.1 innings, struck out 48 and compiled a solid 1.96 ERA. To date this season, Lewis has a record of 8 wins and 4 losses and a 3.08 ERA. He has appeared in 18 games and struck out 110 in 111 innings. |
