South Carolina Bombers Ship Davis to Cabo San Lucas Monday, June 24th, 2019 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Bombers and Toreros have consummated a trade. Cabo San Lucas will receive 23-year-old minor league starting pitcher Jason Davis, 19-year-old minor league closer Mulia Kathirithamby, 18-year-old minor league reliever Ekagra Manasi, 28-year-old reliever Joe Ward and 28-year-old starting pitcher Matt Murphy in a swap for 38-year-old starting pitcher Raúl Pérez, 28-year-old reliever Jack Hall and $5,000,000 in cash. A league analyst called the trade a "pretty even transaction." This year Pérez has a 8-6 record with a 4.42 ERA in 17 starts. |
