Pablo López failed to get a hit in today's game against the Panthers and his 26-game hitting spree has come to an end. The 24-year-old So Cal left fielder was 0-for-5, but the Republic got the win and defeated the Panthers 7-4. "I'm not disappointed at all; I had a great run," López said. "It was fun. I got to 26 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers." This season López is batting .305 with 89 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 51 times and has 56 RBI. |
