Brewer Picked TML Player of the Week Monday, July 16th, 2012 24-year-old Len Brewer made a few Mile High headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Thurman Munson League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .474 average. Brewer collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This year Brewer is batting .229 with 7 home runs.
