Maple Trades Murphy for Eureka's Nelson Monday, June 10th, 2019 Maple and Eureka have agreed in principle to a trade. The Marauders will send 24-year-old minor league first baseman Baden Murphy and 18-year-old minor league starting pitcher Pedro Pérez to the Hornets for 25-year-old starting pitcher Jake Nelson. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. In 13 starts this season Nelson has recorded a 3-1 record and a 3.32 ERA. |
