Superstar RF Inks Deal with Cardinals Sunday, June 9th, 2019 Nick Holmes might be greedy, but there's no disputing his talent. The hotshot right fielder will pocket $10,630,000 after re-signing with the Cardinals earlier today, and will hang around another 1 year. Some more financially prudent fans worried that the signing would burden the club down the road and might prevent it from being competitive, though many others were simply thankful that Holmes didn't bolt. This year Holmes has hit at a .388 pace and produced 53 RBIs, 13 home runs and scored 52 runs. |
