Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Youngster David Lewis emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from South Carolina deserved the honor, batting .289 with 10 home runs and 19 RBI. Is the month of May a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Lewis enjoy the limelight. This year Lewis is batting .256 with 18 home runs. |
