Gonzáles Takes Best Bat Trophy in May Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Alberto Gonzáles is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Jersey left fielder joined that select company when the Thurman Munson League announced the results of May's voting. Gonzáles totaled 37 hits, 11 walks, 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .339 batting average and .398 on-base percentage. For the year Gonzáles is batting .282 with 17 home runs. |
