Just ask Alberto Gonzáles, the Jersey left fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Gonzáles piled up 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs while hitting .458. To date this year Gonzáles is batting .283 with 15 home runs. |
