Washington's Becker Hammers #300 Sunday, May 26th, 2019 The Washington Federals had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 8-3 decision to San Diego. The reason -- the splendid slugger Tom Becker hit his 300th career homer in today's contest at The Brew Stade. "I'm fortunate to be here," Becker told the media after the game. "The Federals have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #300 was for them." In a career spanning 1075 games, Becker has batted .342 with 1526 hits, 300 home runs, 978 RBIs, and 784 runs scored. |
