Rodríguez Pounds HR #300 Monday, May 20th, 2019 Manhatten Beach's outstanding left fielder Lorenzo Rodríguez joined the 300 home run club today at Progress Energy Field with a booming blast in the Patriots win over the Crush. They topped Carolina 12-7. On his milestone day Rodríguez had 1 hit in 4 at-bats with 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way." Rodríguez has 1408 career hits with a .340 batting average and 300 home runs. |
