Pak Sensational, 5-5
Sunday, May 5th, 2019
Ki-moon Pak had an answer for everything Minnesota threw him today at The Nest. In 5 at-bats he made good contact and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit.
The Eureka first baseman went 5 for 5 in the game to get his name in the record book. However, his great performance was not enough to produce a victory. His club, the Hornets, took it on the chin 7-5 against the Berserkers.
"I know you can't win 'em all," he said, "but it sure would have been nice to win this one. To get 5 hits and lose is just not the way it should be."
Ki-moon Pak doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
To date, Pak has collected 26 hits for a .306 average. He has posted no home runs, scored 9 runs and driven in 8 runs.
