Republic Starting Pitcher Gallegos Hurt Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 It was announced today in So Cal that Republic starting pitcher José Gallegos will be on the mend for 4 weeks because of a hamstring strain he sustained in a recent game against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. Gallegos was injured throwing a pitch. Up to now Gallegos has compiled an ERA of 3.16 with a 4-0 mark over 6 starts. He has 35 strikeouts in 31.1 innings and has held opponents to a .235 batting average. |
