Toyoda Wins TML's Best Bat Trophy Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 For the month of April, Akio Toyoda of the Kansas City Tornadoes has really worn out the sweet spot on his bat. He has assaulted, used and abused Thurman Munson League pitchers to the tune of a .373 batting average and was honored as the hottest hitter of the month today. Toyoda went 41 for 110 last month with 10 walks. The designated hitter tallied 11 home runs, 37 RBIs, 24 runs scored and compiled a .426 on-base percentage. |
