Star C Signs Extension with Montreal Friday, April 26th, 2019 Montreal fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Tim Shields won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 3-year extension at a pay rate of $4,333,333 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Montreal officials had to keep Shields from jumping ship. This season Shields is batting .315 with 28 hits, no home runs, 12 RBIs, .330 OBP and has scored 12 runs. |
