Dallas CL Stan Richmond Injured Monday, April 1st, 2019 Stan Richmond at first refused to leave today's San Diego-Dallas game after he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Dallas closer said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Richmond out of action for 11 months. |
