So Cal, San Diego Agree to Trade Saturday, January 26th, 2019 The So Cal Republic have finalized a deal with the San Diego Hops for the services of 30-year-old reliever Phil Bernard. In exchange, the Hops will receive 24-year-old starting pitcher Lee Barker, 26-year-old starting pitcher Tadasuke Kato, 25-year-old minor league second baseman Luis Martínez and $2,100,000 in cash. To date in his career, Bernard has pitched in 290 games, piling up 9 saves with 436 Ks in 354 innings. He has a record of 19-10 and a 4.32 ERA. |
