It's Official: MR Long Signs with Hornets Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 27-year-old reliever Robert Long to Eureka. Long is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Hornets have to win a playoff spot this year. Over his career Long has made his way to the mound for 363 appearances, logging 51 saves, 413 strikeouts, a record of 29-15 and an ERA of 2.17. |
