Earthquakes Hunter Suffers Injury Thursday, June 28th, 2012 The San Francisco Earthquakes will lose the services of left fielder Gary Hunter after he sustained plantar fascitis while running the bases in today's game against the Jacksonville Jacks. "I'll get through it," Hunter said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 3 weeks. This year Hunter has 3 home runs and a .336 batting average. |
