Phillips Goes on Rampage Against Crush
Tuesday, September 25th, 2018
It seemed that Seattle second baseman Danny Phillips could do no wrong as the Sasquatch kayoed the Crush 20-4 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Carolina pitchers couldn't get him out as Phillips seemed to know which pitches they were throwing.
"I think the Sasquatch were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Carolina fan.
"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Phillips in the postgame press interview.
Danny Phillips singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Currently Phillips has 2 home runs and a .318 batting average.
