Frend Selected Top Performer in RCL Monday, August 13th, 2018 Pitchers who faced the Seattle Sasquatch last week were happy to see Steve Frend in the rear view mirror. The 29-year-old right fielder was dubbed the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .520 clip. For the week He also chalked up 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Frend is batting .343 this season in 116 games with 20 home runs, 96 RBIs and 108 runs scored. He has 146 hits in 426 at-bats. |
