Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Youngster Lou Ramsey emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from So Cal deserved the honor, batting .311 with 5 home runs and 13 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ramsey enjoy the limelight. This year Ramsey is batting .306 with 120 hits, 8 home runs, 43 RBIs, 25 walks, .351 OBP and has scored 68 runs. |
