Ramón Vázquez Out 3 Months Saturday, July 21st, 2018 The Jacksonville Jacks were dealt a severe blow when Ramón Vázquez was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Jersey Jesters. After the game, the team trainer reported Vázquez might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 26-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a partially torn labrum. They indicated it would take Vázquez at least 3 months to heal. In pitching stats this season Vázquez has rung up 5 wins and 8 losses in 19 games. He has an ERA of 4.96 and has fanned 99 batters in 103.1 innings. |
