Bancroft 5-6 for Cardinals Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Boston right fielder Pat Bancroft said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Jersey Jesters at St. Sebastian's Cathedral. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Cardinals had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 7-5. Pat Bancroft singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Bancroft is hitting .323 this year with 10 home runs, 64 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 123 hits in 381 at-bats, 36 walks and a .383 on-base percentage. Bancroft has played in 92 games. |
