Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, July 1st, 2018 Lowell Anderson is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In June the South Carolina hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .320 average with 33 hits, 6 home runs and 18 RBIs. Thus far this year Anderson has hit .309 with 17 home runs and 58 RBIs. |
