RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, July 1st, 2018 Youngster Tracy Ashton emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Dallas deserved the honor, batting .342 with 4 home runs and 23 runs batted in. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ashton enjoy the limelight. A look at his season totals shows Ashton with 16 home runs, .352 BA, .407 OBP, 55 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
