Leonardo Reynoso to Miss 12 Months
Wednesday, June 6th, 2018
The So Cal Republic were dealt a severe blow when Leonardo Reynoso was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Jersey Jesters. After the game, the team trainer reported Reynoso might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 23-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. They indicated it would take Reynoso at least 12 months to heal.

On the season Reynoso has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 4.06 ERA in 12 starts. In pitching 68.2 innings he has 63 strikeouts and 22 walks while limiting the opposition to a .293 batting average.
