Gaias Tags Earthquakes for 5 Hits
Sunday, June 3rd, 2018
Somedays you can't win for losing. Just ask Raymundo Gaias. He was the King of Swing in the game against the Earthquakes, but his Mustangs were beaten 3-2 anyway.
The Mile High center fielder stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the San Francisco and delivered 5 hits.
It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. It felt great on the one hand, but a downer at the same time. 5-for-6! It does wonders for your batting average. But it's a shame we couldn't win it, too."
Raymundo Gaias hit a solo-shot off Brian Hudson in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, tripled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
This season Gaias is hitting .352 with 19 hits, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs, scored 11 runs and played in 15 games.
