RCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Brown Monday, May 21st, 2018 Bob Brown demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. The Minnesota first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .536 average (15-28) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season Brown has gotten 56 hits in 188 at-bats for a .298 batting average with 6 home runs. His stats include 26 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 40 games. |
