Trouble in Montreal, Au Suffers Setback Saturday, May 12th, 2018 Li-chi Au was taking it slow and easy, nursing a partially torn labrum back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Montreal team official, "Li-chi was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 27-year-old Bandits right fielder would be out at least another 5-6 weeks. Au is batting at a .276 pace this season, picking up 8 hits in 29 at-bats with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
