Mora 5-6 Against San Francisco Monday, May 7th, 2018 It was high-5 day at Golden Gate Park, at least for Jorge Mora of the New York Mafia. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the San Francisco Earthquakes. Mora smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 13-6 win. His manager said, "Jorge was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Jorge Mora hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off José Morán in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. On the year Mora is hitting .368 with 49 hits, 7 home runs, 27 RBIs, .416 OBP and has scored 25 runs. |
