Great Day for Poole -- 5 Hits Thursday, April 19th, 2018 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Harold Poole of the Mile High Mustangs. Poole went on a tear at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards and cracked hit after hit off Jersey pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 25-year-old right fielder had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell 'em we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Poole got the accolades today, but the Jersey Jesters walked off the field with a 6-5 win. Harold Poole singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 11th. Poole is hitting .259 this season with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 14 hits in 54 at-bats. |
