Evans Goes 5-5 Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game. George Evans of the Marauders is proof of that. The Maple designated hitter gave it his all and dominated South Carolina pitching today at Legends Park with a great 5-for-5 game. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Bombers went home the winner, 8-6. George Evans hit a three-run home run off Jason Adams in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jason Adams in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th. For the year Evans is batting .394 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
