Oglethorpe Selected Player of the Week Monday, April 9th, 2018 26-year-old Tony Oglethorpe sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Oglethorpe made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .615 average, 8 hits in 13 at-bats, 4 home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the Cabo San Lucas Toreros right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Oglethorpe certainly made his mark last week. |
