Jesús Cruz put together a very solid month to take home the Roberto Clemente League's top pitching honor in September. The 21-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 12 relief appearances he raked in 5 saves and 23 strikeouts in 13.2 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 3.95 ERA. During this season he has made 43 relief appearances, earning a 6-2 record with 18 saves. In 48 innings Cruz has struck out 64 with a 3.38 ERA. |
