Toyoda Week's Best in TML Monday, September 11th, 2017 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Thurman Munson League, but last week Akio Toyoda of the Kansas City Tornadoes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Toyoda rocked opposing pitching for a .483 average (14-29), 6 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Toyoda is batting .272 with 30 home runs. He has scored 61 runs and driven in 85. |
