Klein Has 20-Game Hitting Streak

Long hitting streaks don't happen very often and when they happen it perks up everybody's interest. No one knows how long it will go -- it could end tomorrow -- but baseball fans and Tom Klein are enjoying the moment right now. The 29-year-old Minnesota center fielder extended his string to 20 consecutive games in Sick's Stadium today. Klein got 1 hit, but the Seattle Sasquatch got the victory. They toppled the Berserkers 11-4.
Tom Klein grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

For the season Klein has produced 157 hits in 506 at-bats for a .310 average with 21 home runs and gotten on base at a .380 clip.
