Crush Miranda Out of Action Friday, September 8th, 2017 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Crush when after today's game against the Hops, the club found out they would be without the services of Guillermo Miranda for at least 4 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Miranda was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered radial nerve compression. This year Miranda has a 1-3 mark in 4 starts with a 4.28 ERA. He has given up 34 hits in 33.2 innings, struck out 20 and issued 22 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .264 batting average against him. |
