CF John Powers Hurt Thursday, August 31st, 2017 After injuring himself, Marauders center fielder John Powers headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing the ball and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Powers will miss at least 6 months with a damaged elbow ligament. To date, Powers has collected 135 hits for a .284 average. He has posted 13 home runs, scored 60 runs and driven in 58 runs. |
