Leslie Whitney Will Miss 6-7 Weeks Saturday, August 26th, 2017 The Nottinghamshire Outlaws were dealt a severe blow when Leslie Whitney was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. After the game, the team trainer reported Whitney might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old center fielder out for the rest of the season with a fractured rib. They indicated it would take Whitney at least 6-7 weeks to heal. This season Whitney has 6 home runs and a .299 batting average. |
