RCL Relief Ace Burke Named Best Hurler Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 Chase Burke has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. The Prowlers bullpen ace collected 2 saves and 32 strikeouts in 34.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .228 average and posting a 2.60 ERA and a 5-0 record. Currently Burke has 66 relief appearances, saving 5. His record is 10-3 with 101 strikeouts in 118.2 innings and a 3.49 ERA. |
