Cox Takes Out Frustrations on Locker, Suffers Consequences Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 After suffering through yet another heartbreaking loss, Jersey reliever Dorian Cox took his frustration out in the clubhouse. At first, Cox expressed his rage by shouting loudly and overturning a water cooler. However, the tantrum took a particularly ugly turn when Cox decided to take his anger out on his locker. "He unleashed a couple swift jabs to the metal door, then I saw him clutching his hand and wincing," said teammate Kendrick Lane. "I knew right then he'd hurt himself pretty bad." X-rays confirmed that Cox had in fact fractured his hand. "He's gonna be out for at least a month," said manager Mike Martin. "He really needs to learn to control his anger. Not having him available is gonna be a major setback for our team." The team will explore free agent and trade options, but may be forced to fill Cox's position internally. |
