Minnesota, San Francisco Confirm Deal Monday, July 3rd, 2017 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Minnesota. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Minnesota Berserkers general manager shook things up by acquiring 29-year-old center fielder Tom Klein and 19-year-old minor league closer Bryce Hesketh from the San Francisco Earthquakes for 27-year-old right fielder Tim Duncan, 27-year-old shortstop Armando Rodríguez and 24-year-old minor league first baseman Jonathan Fletcher. The Berserkers general manager said, "We're a better team now. We've added several pieces to the puzzle." For the year Duncan has hit .255 with 22 home runs, 61 RBIs and scored 49 runs. On the year Klein has hit .271 with 11 home runs, 39 RBIs and scored 55 runs. |
