Rehab Road Tough For Jacks Carlos Calderón
Friday, June 23rd, 2017
Carlos Calderón's return to the Jacksonville Jacks has been delayed. The 24-year-old right fielder has been in treatment for an oblique strain and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Calderón would not be back as originally diagnosed. He would now be out at least 2-3 weeks.
So far this season Calderón has gotten 33 hits in 97 at-bats for a .340 batting average with no home runs. His stats include 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played in 26 games.
