O'Day Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 23 Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 The Mountain Cats lost to Dallas today by the score of 7-6 at Mountain Cats Park, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. Montgomery center fielder Craig O'Day was working on a 23-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-4 against the Texans as the hot stretch came to an end. For the season O'Day is currently batting .341 with 9 home runs and 26 RBIs. In 41 games he has reached base at a .392 rate and scored 24 runs to date. |
