Escobar Given 4-Game Suspension
Tuesday, April 25th, 2017
José Escobar was suspended for 4 games by the commissioner's office today after he was ejected in the Boston-The Georgia yesterday at The Death Star for arguing a called third strike.
"I was disciplined for making contact with an umpire and spraying him," the Cardinals first baseman told BNN. "I guess I used too many words with Ps and Ss."
Thus far this season Escobar has hit .310 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 12 times.
